About

Tian is pronounced like “ian” with a “t” in front. It’s short for Christian, but no one’s called me that since 1st grade.

At the time, I was attending primary school in England, and they had a strict “no-nicknames” policy.

Since first grade, I’ve gone on to an almost 20 year career in advertising. I’ve worked on digital and social campaigns for clients such as Adobe, Visa, Samsung, IBM, Xerox, American Express, Google, Starbucks, Nest, Nestle, and PayPal—both as an art director and a creative director.

Sometimes I lead creative teams, sometimes I get my hands dirty in Photoshop, Illustrator, or even Procreate. Sometimes, I do all of that at once.

In high school, I spent one basketball season as the team mascot. I wore a huge foam pirate head. That’s, admittedly, a smaller part of my overall skillset.
